Rehearsals are on a Monday Night at the Fred Fox Hall on Gladstone Rd Rockhampton from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. All woodwind and brass players most welcome.
The band is a Concert Band and as such all woodwind, Brass and Percussion Players are most welcome to come including people wanting to get back into playing. The band works on a broad range of repertoire that can include movie themes, jazz songs, pop songs and everything in between.

Rockhampton is a tropical city of almost 60,000 people, located on the Tropic of Capricorn, approximately 650 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane.
The Rockhampton City Band is the oldest band in the region, and one of the oldest in the country, having its origins in 1873. The band officially celebrated its 140th anniversary in September 2013.
