Rehearsal resumes Monday 2nd February 6:30 – 8:30 All woodwind and brass players most welcome.

The band is currently moving to a Concert Band format and as such all woodwind instruments are now most welcome to join along with any additional brass players wanting to get back into playing. The band works on a broad range of repertoire now from traditional marches through to contemporary charts, movie themes, jazz songs and everything in  between.

Rockhampton is a tropical city of almost 60,000 people, located on the Tropic of Capricorn, approximately 650 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane.
The Rockhampton City Brass Band is the oldest band in the region, and one of the oldest in the country, having its origins in 1873. The band officially celebrated its 130th anniversary in September 2003.

The band practices on Monday nights, with practice commencing at 6:30 pm. Additional practices are called as required prior to contests.
